Erik Cipera is the Deputy Director of Asistence, a non-profit organization based in Prague that helps people with disabilities. Asistence provides services to people with disabilities that allow them to live freely in their natural environment by helping to remove external and internal obstacles. Cipera is collaborating with the City of Prague to make its public transit wheelchair-accessible and established a committee focused on accessibility in Prague. “We Are In It Together” is a project he started that offers people an opportunity to travel through the city in a wheelchair. Asistence uses projects/street happenings such as this to bring the debate of accessibility into public debate.
