Jeanne Gang

Founding Principal (Studio Gang)

Chicago, US

American architect Jeanne Gang, FAIA, Int. FRIBA, is the founding principal of Studio Gang, an architecture and urban design practice with offices in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. Jeanne is internationally renowned for a design process that foregrounds relationships between individuals, communities, and environments. Her diverse body of work ranges in scale and type—from cultural and public buildings to multi-story residential projects and urban plans—while also expanding beyond architecture’s conventional boundaries to pursuits ranging from the development of stronger materials to fostering stronger communities. She is currently designing major projects throughout the Americas and Europe, including high-rise residential towers in New York, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam, and recently completed a mixed-use proposal as part of an international competition to redesign Paris’s Tour Montparnasse.
