Lenka Kabrhelova is a radio journalist with over fifteen years of professional experience. She has filed news stories, features, interviews and longer programs for nearly twenty different countries for Czech Radio, the public broadcasting network in the Czech Republic. As a foreign correspondent in Russia and later in the US she has covered major news stories of the last decade. In 2017 she was awarded the prestigious Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University where she focused on media polarization and relations between Central Europe, Russia and the United States. In 2009 Kabrhelova received a Czech Literary Foundation Award for Young Journalist for her news coverage of Russia-Georgia conflict in 2008.
