Michael Rink studied architecture and urban planning at the Technical university Braunschweig and was awarded Fulbright scholarship for studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta USA. He was working for WES & Partner Landscape Architects as project manager, and as a freelancer for various planning companies. He was assistant lecturer at the Technical University Braunschweig, Institute for urban planning and landscape architecture, and since 2005 Michael Rink works as Consultant to the Chief Urban Planner Prof. Jörn Walter in the Ministry of Urban Planning and Environment of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
