Paul Preissner runs Paul Preissner Architects, located in Oak Park, IL, USA. Preissner is also an Associate Professor of Architecture at University of Illinois at Chicago.

 

His work has been exhibited in the United States and internationally, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the Buenos Aires International Biennale of Architecture, and the Rotterdam Biennale, and is a part of the permanent collection at the Art Institute of Chicago. 

 

As of late, he is the co-curator and co-commissioner of the project, American Framing, for the Pavilion of the United States at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.

 

Preissner holds degrees from Columbia University (M.Arch.) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.Arch.).
