Petr Návrat leads ONplan a Prague based planning consultancy that focuses on urban regeneration, housing, local economic development and cultural planning. ONplan gained its reputation for its collaborative approach in urban design and planning that helps both cities and private investors to create values for a wide range of stakeholders. Petr set up public participation office at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development and designed Manual of public participation in planning that was adopted by the City of Prague.

 

In the past he worked as a local government planning consultant in development cooperation, working in Sri Lanka for almost 7 years, he introduced a planning reform in the northeast of the country. Petr worked on projects in the Philippines, Cambodia, Nepal and Cuba. He has an MSc in urban planning from the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London and master’s in economics and international relations from the University of Economics, Prague.
