Teddy Cruz, along with Fonna Forman, professors of Public Culture and Urbanism at UC San Diego, present on the potential for cross-border collaboration and the use of public space for education and equity, arguing that the political border — and its physical manifestation in a border wall — divides two communities that share much in common while having drastic impacts on the physical environment.
