reSITE 2015: "The Shared City" conference was organized as a major public program focusing on sharing economy, digital technologies, open-data, civic activism and urban design.

reSITE 2015 Conference was organized in cooperation with the Prague Institute of Planning and Development and served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences from cities as diverse as New York, London, Helsinki, Rotterdam, Budapest, Warsaw and Prague.

Discussions took place on shared transportation (in which Vítek Ježek, a representative of bike-sharing in Prague, spoke about the Rekola project),shared culture, shared housing and shared public space, focusing on the impact that new technology and the sharing economy would have on use and design of cities. At the first PragueHacks event, taking place as part of the reSITE festival, over 90 hackers used open data and open source technology to design apps to organize networks of people with a view to making government services simple, effective, and easy to use, with apps for schools, public transport, and walking in the City of Prague.
